National Identity Card
The validity period of the national identity card is extended to 15 years for an adult, that of a minor child is valid for 10 years.This measure applies to secure national identity cards issued as of January 1, 2014, as well as to all secure identity cards valid as of January 1, 2014 and issued to adults, their duration validity is extended by five years notwithstanding the date written on the title. If it is a new identity card (bank card format), this card is valid for 10 years. Some municipalities (town halls) do not offer appointments to make this change.
